The TSD-1 Smoke Detector uses our popular FMT-PET transmitter to remote sense a fire. With the smoke detectors built in transmitter you can link the smoke detector to your alarm system, thus alerting other people to a fire alarm.
The smoke detector is powered by one 9-volt battery. The battery should last for one year under normal conditions. The smoke detector has a low battery indicator, an audible “chirp”.
The TSD-1 smoke detector is designed for easy installation on a wall or ceiling. A complete mounting kit is included with the detector. No wiring is required.
